Notable Features: Vivid penstemons, narrow-leaf milkweed, and native shrubs, such as Island snapdragon and California buckwheat, create a haven for wildlife in the front garden. California fuchsia scrambles over a wooden bench on the decomposed granite patio. In back, San Diego bentgrass surrounds a play zone, and a mature coast live oak shades a seating area. A chicken coop and non-native edibles provide nutrition.
