Notable Features: This completely Californian landscape accentuates the black-and-white theme of the 1962 Ranch home. Swaths of grey blue Canyon Prince wild rye offset the dark garden walls. The minimalist plant palette features less-used species such as redshanks, Catalina Island mountain mahogany, Engelmann oak, saffron buckwheat, and canyon silktassel. Gravel hardscape provides spaces for gatherings and captures water onsite. The back includes an in-ground spa, shaded dining area, and stone seating.
