Notable Features: A dense, evolving native plant garden mulched with three inches of washed builder’s sand creates the homeowner-dubbed style of Post Modern California Wave Chaparral that frames a 1915 Craftsman bungalow. Deerbrush, Tilden Prostrate purple sage, and Ghostly manzanita mix with native bulbs, grasses, and forbs that were seeded into the sand, an approach inspired by British landscape architect James Hitchmough.
